CINNABAR FOUNDATION
The Cinnabar Foundation, Montana’s homegrown conservation fund, is the extraordinary legacy established in 1983 by two ordinary people — Len and Sandy Sargent. Due to their vision and generosity, and the philanthropy of others, the Foundation provides support to nonprofit organizations and programs engaged in environmental advocacy, conservation education, and research, as well as the preservation of open space, free-flowing streams, and public access in Montana and the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem.
The Foundation is a qualified, nonprofit, tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
As activists and philanthropists, the Sargents always were willing to add their voices and offer their financial support to the grassroots environmental movement. We hope through our website you discover that spirit lives on.
