THE CINNABAR FOUNDATION
The Cinnabar Foundation is the extraordinary legacy of two ordinary people — Leonard “Len” and Miriam “Sandy” Sargent. Because of their generosity, the Foundation provides support to nonprofit organizations and programs engaged in environmental advocacy, conservation education, and research, as well as the preservation of open space, free-flowing streams, and public access in Montana and the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. The Foundation is a qualified, nonprofit, tax-exempt organization under Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
As activists and philanthropists, Len and Sandy always were willing to add their voices and offer their financial support to the grassroots environmental movement. We hope our website visitors will discover that Sargent spirit in these pages.
