The Cinnabar Foundation was created to educate, inform, support, or contribute to the support of charitable, scientific, and educational projects in the public interest, and for the public purpose of providing representation, including legal representation to individuals and organizations for charitable, scientific, and educational purposes, and for providing educational facilities to the students and public in order to:

1. Promote environmental protection and conservation in the state of Montana and the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem;
   

2. Promote optimum wildlife populations and habitat;
   

3. Promote appropriate recreational use of land and water compatible with the capabilities of the basic resources;
   

4. Promote ecologically balanced management of land and water; and
   

5. Solicit, collect, hold, and invest money and property, using the funds raised and interest earned in furtherance of the specific and primary purposes previously set forth.
